Located at the site of the old Motherwell Ironworks in Logan, Ohio—in the heart of the Hocking Hills— Motherwell Distilling is a start up distillery, restaurant, and tasting room. I developed their logo based on inspiration from the iron bridges in the area, built from Motherwell steel, utilizing the pattern of the trusses to create the iconic M and W.
Additionally we designed a full line of labels for their various offerings; pulling inspiration from vintage surveying and insurance atlases.
